Banned Books Week Banner

Wow!! What a cool banner.

Would love to know how it was made.

What banned book will you be reading during Banned Books Week, September 27 - October 4?

I was the hands behind the mouse (Eric Wirick), and I created it with the help of the brains behind my hands (Kevin Delecki) through a program called GIMP, which is an open source alternative to Photoshop. It took a lot of searching to find those 99 covers, and a bit of patience in making it large enough to have printed 6'x2' to hand in our library. I'm glad you enjoy it :)

Thanks for sharing how you created this banner, Eric.

I looked up the ALA's most frequently challenged books of 2007.

I've already read numbers 2, 4, 5, 6, 8 and 10 on the list. :) They are all really good books, which I guess is why they are frightening... ;)

My question is this: what book is Sarah Palin reading during Banned Books Week??? ;)
